Unwritten Signs

I  am always fascinated by signs that are fading away or getting rusted or altered by some graffiti. I love the way the letters start to disappear, but you can still sort of read the message.

There is a visual beauty in these decaying signs. A sign that the time is passing and the message disappearing, as if it was never written.

THANK YOU!!

What an amazing way to start 2019! First, I am featured in a book among 49 other collage female artists around the world! (Check earlier post) And this past week I learned that I sold 2 of my abstract paintings!  One of small Geometrics painting through Artlyowl.com and this large abstract expressionists painting: “Innocence” -at the SFWA Artist Gallery show: “World of Abstraction”!

Congratulations to the lucky  collectors!! And thank you to Artlyowl and the SFWA Art Gallery for making it possible!

Your support is greatly appreciated! And it encourages me to continue doing what I do!

Thank you!

Art Studio Update !

I just recently re-arranged my small Art studio. Since I work in different medias, it was impossible to keep it clean and organized. If I was painting, I couldn’t collage, and if I was Collaging, I couldn’t paint. So I came out with this brilliant idea of dividing the space in 3 sections. First, I got rid of a lot of stuff I didn’t need. Then, I took all the material out of drawers and boxes, and put it all out in the open! This way everything is always accessible to me!

I want to share how this is working out for me, and show you how I am currently working on 3 different things, in a more efficient and organized way. 😀

I hope you find it useful! 😉

Back at the Studio!

After battling a cold for almost 2 weeks and a half, I am finally feeling like my old self again! Filled with energy to paint, collage and do whatever I want this weekend!!

I am slowly working on a new etching plate, which is the first one of a series. I am encountering some technical challenges, but is part of the process with etching. So no surprises there!

I am also excited to start my new series of geometric paintings. And continue with the new paper collage series!  Much work to do! 😊

I am An ARTIST

I am an Artist!

I paint, I draw,

I cut and Paste.

I take pictures,

I write poems,

I write songs.

I dance and sing

I play, I dream

At any hour of the day.

I am like a child...

I am an Artist!

I love,

I fear.

I laugh,

I cry

When I feel I go deep...

I am an Artist.

I am scared,

I feel lonely.

I am highly soft and sensitive

I am an Artist.

I  create

something

everyday

I am an Artist!

I am crazy,

I am a weirdo,

I am bold and intense...

I am an Artist!

Childish, Immature,

distracted and socially awkward!

I am an Artist!

Cosmic Corners

I just recently posted in my Instagram page, few new photographs. I am intrigued by the beauty and striking elegance,  I find in random corners around the city. A random object, a random wall, unexpectedly become key elements for the Sun’s masterpiece. A piece, we humans don’t ever get to see. Is not only too big to capture, is also constantly moving and changing.

But sometimes, little details, little moments, surprises by sparking like diamonds, touched by the sun! And suddenly you hear the music, you see the painting, you follow the poem,  you sing the song and everything just tastes so delicious.
